Around $100 in the city, daytime.
That’s the typical number for a standard in-city tow during the day. Three things move it, and dispatch tells you which apply before anything is sent.
- Urgency. Scheduled or flexible moves are the base rate. A rush that pulls a truck off another job is quoted higher.
- Number of vehicles. One vehicle is the base. Each additional vehicle or a second truck is priced per job.
- Time of day. Daytime is the base. Late nights, weekends and holidays are quoted on the call.
Longer distances, heavy or specialty vehicles and recovery work are always quoted individually.
